Detour Eatery Tram

The 2013 deTour design festival broke from its site specific format and deployed creativity on Hong Kong’s public transport system and infrastructure, including the transformation of a fleet of trams. We were briefed with transforming a derelict tram into a mobile dining room to seat 24 with catering staff. This ephemeral tram ran for three weeks conducting curated experiences and tours that will never be forgotten.
